  • Family @ sunset

My family spent a magic afternoon at Mindil Beach in Darwin NT yesterday. We went there to get some great sunset shots but ended up getting a lot more. The high tide mark was covered in some kind of seaweed that I’ve never seen before. Amongst the seaweed was all kinds of flotsam which created endless vignettes and interesting arrangements that get someone like me excited. But it didn’t end there! If you ventured a bit closer to the water you could find a hermit crab under just about every shell on the beach. I have never seen so many hermit crabs! Ok so the sunset wasn’t quite what we had hoped for but the afternoon for me was a lot of fun.
